Showering Cousin Shearer

Audrey and Mom took a quick trip back to Washington to throw a shower for Aunt Bean, Uncle Saxton and Baby Shearer. Ms. Audrey is getting to be quite the pro traveler.  It was a great weekend - we got to welcome new cousin William Rickert and have plenty of cousin and family time...but I think dad was ready to welcome us home after 5 days in a quiet house!

Made it through the airport craziness, ready to go to Seattle!
Baking with Aunt Bean is hilarious

Cousins are so fun.

Cute girls (don't mind the undies...)

Sister bumps

With new cousin Will who's arrival was perfect timing!

Accident in the airport...calls for a rinse off.
Pro-traveler

She made friends with a little boy in front of us on the plane. The conversation was great, but I only caught a short clip.

Running through the airport, the only way this girl rolls. Makes traveling fast and easy!

A Day as a 14 Month Old

***NOTE...just realized I never published this. Here's a little throwback***

Days seem to fly by and I don't want to miss capturing all of the fun things Audrey is doing at this age. Because she is a lot of fun and it is absolutely amazing how she can now understand about 80% of what we say and pick up on everything we do. She is a bundle of energy we just try to keep up with, but a little about Miss Audrey these days:

- She knows as many signs as we do and it is a tremendous help in communicating what she wants...more, water, please, eat, etc. We need to increase our vocabulary because I'm sure she would easily keep up.
- Walking is in the past, it's now pretty much running wherever she wants to go. The stability developed very fast and she is loving the independence.
- Her laugh is so contagious. She loves to be chased and runs around upstairs laughing until we say its time for bed...which is usually later than it should be because we are all having too much fun.
- She will eat anything and will point to the fridge for a snack as soon as we come in the door from work. "Snack:30" as dad calls it is both their favorite hour. I swear she eats as much as me.
- She has a mouthful of teeth. 12 so far and with the drooling and chewing she's been doing the last few days, it's likely a couple more are on their way.
- Her favorite things: keys, iPhone, any water bottle that has water in it, remotes. She has plenty of toys that pretty much go untouched if any of the above items are around.
- The hair is so blonde and fine and always going every direction, especially when sunscreen is involved - we'll just call it the beach blown look.
- She waves 'hi' and 'bye' to anyone she walks past.
- She still loves to dance and will continually ask for more songs once we get started.
- Her baby blues are deadly...they get pretty much whatever they want.

Anderson Farms

We spent an October morning at Anderson Farms riding barrel trains, getting pulled behind tractors, on a pony and picking out pumpkins. It was a crazy hot 80 degree day, but a fun morning.

Someone is Hangry

Worn Out

Cheesy Smile

This is what we get when we say give us a cheesy smile. She's a ham. A ham who also loves to sing and is constantly making up her own words to old tunes. Who enjoys putting on 'makeup' and doing nails, wearing boots and pretty shoes and anything else a girl loves.

Nap Buddies

At least Sark thinks so...Audrey is not so sure when he curls up and wakes her.

Fall is Here

And it's amazing in Colorado. Took advantage of a great fall day for a picnic in the mountains.
