Celebration

We got an adult weekend away to Sacramento in April to celebrate my cousin Jeff and Haley's wedding - what a beautiful, fun event and get away!

That One Night...

The kids were excited about going to Parent's Night Out at daycare. Only to be told they will never go back because the movies (Brother Bear) are too scary...

Audrey is SIX!

And full of personality. She loves to sing, dance and perform - and has quite the talent too. She has grown tremendously this year and receives nothing but good feedback from Kindergarten. Her comprehension level on so many things is just amazing. She has a huge heart and takes great care of her brother, or anyone...when in the right mood. She has emotional lows and highs, often within the same hour with a stubborn side who hates to be told No. Often it's followed by a day or two of acting out while we come back around. She is a friend to everyone - loves playing with friends, riding bikes and being active but still is very shy when it comes to asserting herself in situations with new people. She is also still quite scared of any movie that has even the slightest villain or scary scenes.
But overall this girl shows us a very high level of maturity. She is helpful, loving, loyal and such a joy. She is loved by all, sometimes a little too much from the boys in class and around the neighborhood :)

Her activity of choice on her birthday was to take a friend and Del to Jump City. She celebrated with about 20 other friends with a pool party. She is a great sister, great friend and a beautiful, smart little girl.

Easter Fun

March 2019

Some random captures of Del's personality and a fun adventure to a Nugget's Game.

Diaper Free!

With a Bomb Cyclone snow day came a boy who finally decided to potty train.
The Promise (Bribe...): Go poop on the potty, get a new ball at the store
The Result:

And we are diaper free!!!!

Back in the Winter Sport Game

At least we tried with a fun weekend at Steamboat - getting back into skiing after 6+ years. Audrey took to the sport as well - she did great and I survived, although my back barely made it.

HBD Sarkie!

California Adventure

We took a nice long week to get out of the cold and head to some sun in California. Unfortunately there was little sun in California, but we did have a lot of laughs and memories. We started out in Palm Springs at Aunt Sandra's, made a stop at Disneyland (poured in the morning, but dried up in the afternoon and we made it until 10:30 enjoying the fun) and finished up in San Diego with the Lundbergs. It was a great getaway!
