We were lucky enough to spend 10 days with the family in Anchorage.
Although, the trip started out RRRROOOOUUUGGGHHH - imagine a feverish 1 year old who doesn't like to sleep in your arms or sit still. And then face plants during a lay over so won't eat because his two front teeth hurt. So he's even more uncomfortable on the 3 hour flight from Seattle to Anchorage where he was screaming and thrashing with a bloody mouth even in our arms or on the ground. We barely made it through by spending about 45 minutes splashing in the bathroom sink. Pretty sure everyone loved us and we were all pretty miserable.
The first 48 hours in Anchorage, the boy still wouldn't eat, sleep or poop. He then broke out in a rash and was back to his old self. From then on we had an enjoyable trip. We luckily picked the nicest day for a glacier cruise, spent time at an animal conservatory, playgrounds, a super exciting train ride to Wasilla and lots of time with the family. Thank you to Cam and Sax for hosting a great trip!
