We were so impressed by Audrey's school's Christmas program this year. You could tell they practiced a lot. Especially because Audrey actually got up to a microphone and said her line in front of about 150 people in an auditorium 'Hurry! Santa will be awake soon.' She got to the last word before realizing she was embarrassed and rushing back. She sang her little heart out...as she does every day at home.

Thanksgiving Fun
Had Grandpa in town for the Cougar game and then we cruised into Thanksgiving week. So thankful for our wonderful little family. And the friends we have to spend the day with.

YMCA Camp
Who knew it was such a great place to be!
Indoor pool, pony rides, a beautiful setting, hanging with the school groups. We will be going back.

9 Months Old
This boy is learning fast. He is now pulling his hands away from support and standing all on his own for up to a full minute. He's even starting to have a little squat on the way down. Walking could be anytime.
He still likes to be held by mom but is getting a little better at independent (or with his sister) play.
He now has 6 teeth popped through. Sleep is still a little hit or miss and the drool is CONSTANT. This is one drooly, snotty little boy.
He's like a little dinosaur... screeching in delight and just to talk. Ear piercing screaching that encourages his sister to join in. Our house is not quiet anymore.
He still loves a bath and waving. He's even starting to dance by moving the booty up and down while standing. Taking after his sister with the love of music.
8 Months Old
He still loves to head straight for Sark's water or climb up on anything he can, as that causes mom to run after him and grab him...this boy is a mama's boy. If mom comes in the room, he gets so excited. If mom leaves the room, he loses it.
Speaking of being a mama's boy...he likes to be held by mom. ALL THE TIME.
It has been a rough month putting up with a cough, 'the pink eye' (as Audrey calls it) and new teeth. His two front top teeth are coming through to match his bottom ones. Plus a couple more are close.
Needless to say, sleep is not going so well. More sleep training to come...
He's getting more vocal - screeching and babbling. Its even starting to sound like mama or dada at times.
He's really into waving and loves to say 'hi' to everyone.
The food variety is increasing and he seems to enjoy eating, when we remember to feed him. Luckily, daycare takes care of it most of the time ;)
He loves a bath now that he can crawl around and sit on his own. He'll stand at the bath squealing in delight as we fill it and then splash with vengeance the whole time he is in it.
This is a fun age to see his extreme happiness in mom or dad coming home or laughing at baby sister, but it sure is exhausting chasing after him to ensure we don't get another head bonk as containment is not really an option. And also to ensure his sister isn't tackling him or treating him too rough - now that he can mostly hold his own there have been a few WWF type moves that he's not quite ready to defend!
