Diaper Free!

With a Bomb Cyclone snow day came a boy who finally decided to potty train.

Back in the Winter Sport Game

At least we tried with a fun weekend at Steamboat - getting back into skiing after 6+ years. Audrey took to the sport as well - she did great and I survived, although my back barely made it.

California Adventure

We took a nice long week to get out of the cold and head to some sun in California. Unfortunately there was little sun in California, but we did have a lot of laughs and memories. We started out in Palm Springs at Aunt Sandra's, made a stop at Disneyland (poured in the morning, but dried up in the afternoon and we made it until 10:30 enjoying the fun) and finished up in San Diego with the Lundbergs. It was a great getaway!

Del is 3

It was a bit of a rough number 3 - waking up throwing up in his bed. But he rallied for his first birthday party at some bouncy houses with friends, really enjoying the party and attention this year.
The big guy is still a cuddle bug and lover. He loves to rub on his 'rubbing blanket' 'rubbing pillow' and anything soft, especially if mom is wearing it, often demanding I stay in soft jimmies longer just so he can cuddle up.
Although he still loves Baby Shark, he's also a big fan of Paw Patrol and PJ Mask. He loves to watch them and then re-enact being a super hero all around the house.
This boy loves to dance and sing, often busting a move with elbows out and a silly face.
He's still not quite potty trained - although talks about how he will be very soon. He's sure to let us know when he's going to fill his diaper and then directs exactly how and who changes him.
He still loves any kind of ball.
And...still not a consistent sleeper - coming into mom and dad's bed almost overnight now. We've tried a number of things like a sleeping bag on the floor (him yelling 'let me in your bed' for half the night) and get in a short 3-4 day streak of sleep before we regress once again.
He's always keeping us laughing with his animated play and his sweet personality. He'll just melt your heart when he puts his hand on you, looks you straight in the eye and says 'I love you, Mommy'.
