Eleven Months Old

11 Months Old...we can barely believe it. Audrey's learning and has a fun, loving personality making every day that much more fun. At almost a year old, this little girl is:

• Full of Curiosity: Drawers and cupboards are full for new adventures and you can just see the wheels spinning as she continues to explore and learn.
• Into Sharing: She loves taking a bite of waffle, offering Sark some and then continuing to eat. She also offers Sark socks, remotes, pacifiers and anything else she finds to see if she has a taker. They share it all.
• A Talker: Dadadada, Mamamama etc. are constants in her vocabulary. She'll hold something up and say 'Duh' over and over. And her new favorite sounds is 'sssssssss'.
• A Biter: She likes to put those teeth to good use and bite on all sorts of things. It works great for eating solids where she always goes for the largest pieces of food possible. It isn't so great for nursing. May not be nursing for much longer if she continue to find the 'Let's Bite Mom and Listen to the Yelp Game' fun...

• On a Sleep Strike: All of a sudden, the little one no longer sleeps through the night...So this last month has been a little bit of a daze as we all try to get back to routine.
• A Sippy Cup Pro: It took a few weeks but she now has it down. We are pretty much completely off bottles. She also enjoys sipping out of dad's water glass, mom's water bottle and anything else that has liquid in it. 

• A future Basketball Player: She loves to palm anything she can. A bottle, a remote and her favorite, a cell phone.
• A Game Lover: Her favorite is crawling as fast as she can to Sark's food dish so mom and dad will say 'No' and sweep her up to reset back in the living room. Then doing it again and again and again and again. Her second favorite is covering her eyes while we say 'Where's Audrey' and pulling her hands off 'There she is!'

  

• Into Trust Falling: It started on our bed, falling back into the covers. Now she'll randomly do it in our arms or sitting on the floor. It's 50/50 if we are behind her or her head hits the floor.
• All About Pointing: She points at strangers walking by, dad, mom, Sark, food if she wants more, lights and anything that grabs her attention. It's her best form of communication.

• A Burrower: She loves burrowing her head behind pillows and blankets, into our legs or into Sark.
• Full of Crazy Hair Days: She has her dad's calic and currently a 'cute' little mullet. Here's to hoping her hair starts growing fast. 

• Comfortable in Her Birthday Suit: She used to hate getting out of baths, but now she knows it means naked play time crawling fast laps around the upstairs with both mom and dad's full attention. It's her happiest time of day. And so far we have timed it right where we haven't had any accidents all over us or the floor.

• Full of Adventure and Loves Life: And she brings so much adventure and love to ours.
