Two Months Old!

A few things about Audrey as she hit the 2-month milestone June 12th:

- Her changing table is her happy place. As soon as you lay her down she starts smiling uncontrollably.

- She's still not a big bath fan. But as Josh reminds me, I am still not a huge fan myself, so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise. We are improving having graduated from a full out wail to a slight whimper and sometimes even contentment near the end.

- She is still extremely easy to go off and run errands with or take out to eat. Usually after about 10 minutes in her car seat or stroller she is fast asleep. She has no idea the places she's been.

- She loves to lay on her play mat where she can look at her reflection in the mirror and kick the little toys hanging down. She'll sit and smile and kick her feet for close to a half an hour, happy as can be.

- When she is done lying by herself, she likes to be held standing on your lap in a squat position. She constantly pushes herself up and back down...already working on those hops.

- And when she is done with squats, she likes to move. Walking around looking at the different pictures on the wall and lights up above is one of her favorite things to do.

- Her hands and feet seem HUGE (although I really have nothing to compare them to). Her feet are already exceeding the space designated for them in the 3-month sleepers. Luckily they stretch!

- She is getting some seriously cute baby rolls as can be seen in the thigh and arms. We are glad to know she is well fed and growing.

- We are trying to get a little bit of a routine with naps. For the most part she is starting to comply, but not without fussing for about three minutes. Five minutes is my max before I'll go in to comfort her but she rarely goes that long.

- Nighttime is going well. She'll sleep ~6 hours before waking up to feed and go back down for a couple more hours. Dad gets a pretty solid 8-hours every night. Mom is catching up.

- She is so much fun and definitely takes after her dad with her laid-back, anything goes attitude!
